According to statistics from VASEP, Vietnam exports seafood to over 160 countries worldwide. In the period from 1995-2020, the average annual growth rate reached 8%, with production in 2020 reaching 8.4 million tons, an increase of 6 times compared to 1.3 million tons in 1995. This contributes significantly to the development of the seafood industry in general and the seafood processing industry in particular.
